Multilateral Agreement M358

Under paragraph 1.5.1 of Annex A of ADR Concerning the carriage of elevated temperature substances for road repair.

1. By derogation from the requirements of special provision 668 of chapter 3.3 in ADR, bitumen or similar products classified under UN 3257 Elevated temperature liquid, n.o.s., class 9 may also be transported with the purpose of repairing cracks and crevices in existing road surfaces, without being subject to other requirements of ADR, provided that the following conditions are met:

(a) They do not fulfil the criteria of any class other than Class 9;

(b) The temperature of the outer surface of the boiler does not exceed 70 °C;

(c) The boiler is closed in such a way that any loss of product is prevented. during carriage;

(d) The maximum capacity of the boiler is limited to 3 000 liters.

2. A copy of this agreement shall be carried on board the transport unit.

3. This agreement shall be valid until 30.06.2025 for the carriage on the territories of those ADR Contracting Parties signatory to this agreement. If it is revoked before then by one of the signatories, it shall remain valid until the above-mentioned date only for carriage on the territories of those ADR Contracting Parties signatory to this agreement which have not revoked it
